| Our office
in Boca Raton opened in 1983 with Drs. Ann Freedman and Robert
Spoont and it is still at the same location. The office has grown
to include Dr. Arthur Kapit, an orthodontist, and Dr. Jackie Galvez,
a pediatric dentist and Dr. Yaron Tavory, a general dentist.
For 23 years, we have cared for thousands of patients in South
Florida.
As a team, we provide our patients with the highest quality
care in a personal and professional environment. Getting to know
you and your individual dental needs is our foremost concern.
We are large supporters of local children’s athletic leagues.
Look for our “BIG TOOTH” jerseys on the teams we
support.
Through our BIG TOOTH educational program, running since 1985,
thousands of local school children have been introduced to the
benefits of good oral hygiene. BIG TOOTH, our office mascot,
visits public and private schools as well as pre-schools and
summer camps. We would like to thank all of our patients for their continued
support and referrals of their family and friends.
General and Cosmetic Dentistry
Drs. Robert Spoont and Yaron Tavory treat all
aspects of dentistry, including oral surgery, endodontics (root
canal), non-surgical periodontics (gums), and implant restoration.
We place an emphasis on cosmetic dental procedures. We only
use tooth-colored (composite) fillings. We offer Empress and
Procera all-porcelain crowns and veneers, as well as CEREC
all-porcelain bridges. There is no metal in these restorations,
allowing for a very natural appearance. If you want whiter
teeth, we provide in-office whitening (bleaching) in 90 minutes
using the ZOOM! bleaching system.
Pediatric Dentistry
Drs. Ann Freedman and Jackie Galvez are pediatric
dental specialists. We place an emphasis on treating children
in a warm, friendly, and non-threatening environment. We also
want children to grow up understanding the importance of taking
care of their teeth.
We have an official office mascot, BIG TOOTH. Your child “joins” the
BIG TOOTH FAN CLUB and receives office giveaways throughout
the year to encourage a positive attitude towards dentistry.
Dr. Annie and Dr. Jackie only use tooth-colored (composite)
fillings. Digital x-rays are used to reduce the radiation exposure
to your child.
We allow parents to accompany their children during dental
treatment. If this makes you or your children more comfortable,
we are all for it. If it is
your child’s first visit to the
dentist, please see Your Child’s First Visit page on our website.
